Following the earlier HermèsFit, Hermès is bringing another new event to Hong Kong, which is the “Le Monde d’Hermès” magazine pop-up newsstand about to land in Hong Kong.
“Le Monde d’Hermès” is a magazine published by Hermès, which was founded in 1973, earlier than the birth of Birkin. The brand also invites a chief editor and artistic director every year to collaborate with the brand team, carefully selected writers, illustrators, and photographers. They release two issues of the magazine in spring/summer and autumn/winter, and it is published in 10 languages worldwide. Each person also refers to the annual theme and showcases their expertise and creative ideas. Every issue of the magazine is beautifully crafted with exquisite texts, illustrations, and artwork, making it highly worth reading.
The annual theme of the magazine this year is “Lighthearted!” In order to sincerely invite the public to read “Le Monde d’Hermès” magazine, and to deeply explore the brand’s innovative spirit and creative imagination, the magazine will visit Hong Kong with the same-named bookstand from October 28th to 30th. Readers can appreciate the brand’s timeless collection and inspiring conversations in its diverse creative realm through words and pictures.
The first “Le Monde d’Hermès” newsstand draws inspiration from traditional newsstands in Paris and debuted in Prague in the autumn of 2021, bringing a series of exciting and lively events. It then moved to Barcelona and Singapore in April and May respectively, and will finally land in Hong Kong after exhibitions in Knokke, Rotterdam, Tokyo, and London.
During the landing period at the newsstand, visitors can have their portraits drawn by the artist’s skillful brush, enjoy the fun-filled mini golf, or take a photo in front of the large chessboard set. Fresh flowers will also be distributed from time to time, bringing different surprise activities.
