Brand new Skinwear limited series, Mugler’s avant-garde aesthetics combined with Wolford’s innovative technology.

When it comes to stockings, it’s hard not to think of the Austrian stocking brand Wolford, which is known as the best stockings in the world. Recently, Wolford collaborated with Mugler to launch the limited edition “Skinwear” collection.

In fact, this is not the first time that Wolford has collaborated with Mugler. Going back to the 80s, Wolford had previously collaborated with the late Manfred Thierry Mugler to create two exclusive clothing collections. Mugler’s creative director, Casey Cadwallader, also collaborated with Wolford to create stocking styles for the Spring/Summer 2020 collection.

Since taking on the role of Creative Director in 2018, Casey Cadwallader has consistently embraced diversity, celebrated different sexual orientations and body shapes through design. This collaborative series combines the brand’s avant-garde aesthetic with Wolford’s innovative technology to boldly celebrate the beauty of the human body, taking the design of intimate apparel to another level.

The collection perfectly showcases artistry and experimental spirit, with 12 styles including bodysuits, jumpsuits, gloves, leggings, athletic shorts, and other items, all made with high-quality materials and unique body-shaping structures. The exquisite tailoring and embossed patterns present innovative textile techniques, while Mugler’s iconic shaping tights will also be available in more new colors.

As for the advertising campaign for this series, Malaysian photographer Zhong Lin was specially invited to shoot, with models Lara Stone, Sora Choi, and Aj Yel interpreting three different charms, showing off enticing curves.
