Theory’s first collaboration with Lucas Ossendrijver, bringing a stylish urban style.

New York brand Theory is based on the concept of individual urban practicality, featuring clean and simple design cuts. Recently, the brand announced a collaboration with Dutch designer Lucas Ossendrijver to create a series of casual yet elegant and intellectual men’s and women’s clothing.

People living and working in New York always seem to be in a hurry, and the visionary Lucas Ossendrijver, inspired by the metropolitan life of New York, has created this collaborative series. This collection allows urbanites to freely navigate between cities and explore endless outfit possibilities for work attire.

The collection uses calm, fashionable, and durable tones such as burgundy, eggplant, tobacco, and earthy yellow for the autumn color palette, combined with sky blue, slate gray, and purple. The fabrics are of high quality, including wool flannel, houndstooth, and environmentally friendly technical fabrics manufactured in Japan and Italy, tailored into stylish suit pieces, including soft-touch minimalist suit jackets and French-seamed button-up long coats, showcasing a new look for Theory.

Pilot jackets and windbreaker jackets meet the indoor and outdoor lifestyle needs of urbanites. For women’s wear, it includes carefully designed pleated straight skirts and irregular skirts, revealing the intellectual and elegant side of women. Monochrome silk dresses with a rich sense of layering are one of the highlights, combining flowing cuffs and tie designs, simple yet full of detail, perfect when paired with a casual shirt. A side-buttoned wool pencil skirt paired with suede sneakers or loafers embellished with neoprene shoe tongues adds a touch of fashion elegance.
