In addition to shopping for beautiful clothes online, you can also purchase museum-quality artworks at Net-A-Porter!

In recent years, the online luxury goods market has gradually matured, with most consumers transitioning from initially purchasing designer handbags and clothing to buying expensive luxury watches, and even expanding to purchasing art pieces. Leading fashion e-commerce platform Net-A-Porter, in order to further expand its reach, has announced a collaboration with the art e-commerce platform ap8.art, introducing a curated selection of contemporary art pieces to bring consumers closer to art.

For consumers, while the authenticity of purchased artworks is important, ap8.art uses innovative shorthand encryption technology and cryptography to digitally verify each artwork, detecting details imperceptible to the human eye through digital scanning. Additionally, each artwork is linked to the verification code registered by the purchaser, providing information on the origin and price assessment of the artwork.

The first shot was fired by 10 photos taken by French artist and fashion photographer Guy Bourdin, including his most iconic works, blending elements of art, fashion, and culture to showcase his vivid and bold aesthetic. This limited edition series is exclusively available at Net-A-Porter, with each piece limited to no more than 100. Brand Chief Procurement and Marketing Officer Lea Cranfield said, “This exclusive collaboration marks Net-A-Porter’s first step into the art world, and we look forward to bringing more surprises to everyone.”
