UNIQLO and White Mountaineering collaborate to launch the first joint series of “outerwear suitable for the whole family”!

by

UNIQLO’s designs have always been people-oriented, often actively inviting different designers and brands to collaborate on various types of clothing collections to meet the needs of different lifestyles. The latest collaborative series is centered around “designing jackets that everyone can wear,” and this time, the partner is the iconic functional casual wear brand White Mountaineering!

Hailing from Japan, White Mountaineering was founded by designer Yosuke Aizawa in 2006. Known for combining the functionality of outdoor clothing with trendy elements, it is highly popular among fashion enthusiasts and trendsetters. This time, Yosuke Aizawa has reimagined UNIQLO’s classic jackets and corduroy clothing, incorporating the outdoor functionality that White Mountaineering is known for. With a theme of “family,” he has designed 9 pieces of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing.

This includes styles such as the Hybrid down hooded jacket, premium ultra-light down wide jacket, brushed wide jacket, etc. The men’s hooded jacket features White Mountaineering’s common double zipper design, while the women’s back uses a cape-style design, and the multiple pocket design is full of ingenuity. There is also a corduroy loose wide jacket, with a simple style and natural tones.
