The fashion world has always loved to launch cross-border collaborations in order to bring extreme designs. Sometimes, they even invite “super-class” old brands to collaborate. The luxury brand Louis Vuitton from France, which needs no introduction, has recently teamed up with Maison TAMBOITE, a renowned and long-standing brand in the cycling world, to create a new luxury bike called “LV Bike.”
Design-wise, the classic bicycle models “Closed Frame” and “Step-Through” from Maison TAMBOITE were chosen as the basis. The frame, seat, rear seat leather, and gear wheels are all replaced with LV Monogram patterns, while the wheel rims and frame are also printed with the Louis Vuitton logo, making the entire bicycle feature signature elements.
As for the materials, the metal frame is made of enamel and chrome-plated steel, which has been stretched and lightened to combine lightweight and sturdy characteristics; in addition, there are also equipment such as a tracker, independent LED lighting, and shock absorbers under the seat. Both models are available in color options such as graphite, yellow, red, blue, and orange.
