Tiffany & Co. collaborates once again with Daniel Arsham, releasing limited edition bronze padlocks and Tiffany Lock bracelets.

Tiffany & Co. has brought many heavyweight joint projects in recent years, and recently announced a new round of creative collaboration with New York contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, launching limited edition “bronze rust Tiffany & Co. padlock” and Tiffany Lock bracelet. Daniel Arsham is one of the most prominent contemporary artists today, known for his futuristic perspective, using materials such as concrete and plaster to reshape and create art pieces with a strong personal style. He has collaborated with brands such as Porsche, Pokemon, and Dior in the past, and this is the third collaboration with Tiffany & Co. in two years!

Locks have an important place in the history of Tiffany & Co., the brand first presented functional locks to customers in the late 19th century, becoming a signature motif. Today, many stunning jewelry pieces from the brand are still based on this, including the new Tiffany Lock series bracelet.

For this project, Arsham continues to showcase his unique aesthetic of subverting time and space, creating bronze “corroded” sculptures to present The Tiffany Archives’ classic padlocks. The design appears as if it has undergone the test of time, yet is an artifact unearthed in the distant future. He creates a tension of time, manifested in the corroded appearance of the sculptures and the hand-painted antique copper green that echoes Tiffany & Co.’s patented color. Each rectangular piece is hand-cast by Arsham Studio in New York, with each piece taking over 400 hours of manual finishing.

The limited edition Tiffany Lock bracelet by Tiffany & Co. in collaboration with Arsham Studio is hidden within the sculpture. The series interprets the connection between people with eye-catching designs, and with gender-neutral styles, it conveys the message of “No Rules. All Welcome.” The exclusive 18K white gold Tiffany Lock bracelet introduced this time is hand-cast, set with diamonds and the legendary gemstone introduced globally by the brand in 1974 – the chrysoprase. The emerald green tone of this gemstone echoes the weathered bronze green of the sculpture and the main color of Arsham Studio. The process of discovering chrysoprase in the past also coincides with Arsham’s advocacy of the aesthetic of “future exploration.”

The “Bronze Corrosion Tiffany & Co. Padlock” is stored in a specially designed Tiffany Blue art collection box with metal accents, accompanied by a Blue Box containing white jewelry handling gloves adorned with both brand logos. The sculpture, along with a limited edition Tiffany Lock bracelet, will be available at selected Tiffany & Co. stores worldwide on December 1st, with a global limit of 99 pieces, making it highly collectible.
