近日，由张婉婷执导的纪录片《给十九岁的我》引起轩然大波，本来收获大量好评的电影更在一片争议声中暂停公映。大众对这部作品的反应之所以急转直下，皆因片中两位女主角王卓聆（阿聆）和佘丽薇（阿佘）对制作团队及校方在处理学生隐私、尊重学生意愿上表达强烈不满。阿聆更亲撰万字文，表达自己由始至终亦没有同意让电影以任何形式公开放映。因此制作团队被指责漠视学生意愿，剥削学生权益，惹来骂声一片。
后来事件越演越烈，除了爆出工作人员在2016年没有依照正当程序申请进入亚洲场地单车锦标赛进行拍摄外，他们更在没有李慧诗授权下，将其访问片段收录在电影中，引起李慧诗不满。
