I believe everyone must be familiar with Park Eunkyung’s work. In fact, it’s easy to see her work on the members of BLACKPINK in their music videos. Park Eunkyung has done nail art for BLACKPINK multiple times, and has been involved in most of their group and individual albums, as well as fashion shoots. Even G-Dragon has been her client. Let’s get to know this behind-the-scenes hero!
Park Eunkyung started getting into nail art during her middle school years. She originally worked in the beauty industry but became interested in nail art and decided to switch careers. In 2014, she founded her own nail art brand, “Unistella,” and became the brand’s director. Park Eunkyung sees nail art as a part of fashion. She believes that nail designs are difficult to change every day, so she decided to create nail accessories that can be easily changed. As a result, she later established “Unistella Jewelry,” using metal and diamonds to create a collection of nail accessories that add luxury and fashion to nail art.
Park Eunkyung has a wild imagination and a bold creative style, creating various surreal and extravagant nail art designs that subvert the concept of nail art and elevate it to an art form. Her specialty lies in metal geometric line designs and her iconic “glass nails,” and she also loves using different materials such as 3D rhinestones, pearls, acrylic, stickers, and flower petals for nail art designs. Furthermore, Park Eunkyung incorporates the concept of sustainability into her nail art, often recycling beads, fabric scraps, plastic bottles, and wires, combining creativity with environmental friendliness to create eco-friendly nail art!
Another major feature of Park Eunkyung is that her designs are not limited to the surface of the nails. She extends the scope of nail art to the fingers, back of the hand, and even the wrist, creating unique nail accessories that match the nail style perfectly and integrate nail art with fashion, presenting a complete hand styling. It must be said that Park Eunkyung’s innovative ideas take nail art to another level, breaking through the boundaries of nail art and even leading nail accessories to become a new trend in nail art.

As the official nail artist for BLACKPINK, Park Eunkyung has done the nails for BLACKPINK multiple times. Her work can be seen in most of their music videos, group and individual album concepts, including the group albums “How You Like That” and “Kill this Love” MVs, the “Ice Cream” MV, Rosé’s solo single “On the ground” MV, and Lisa’s solo album cover “LALISA”. She personally designs all of these nail styles, which enhance their fashionable looks and make the overall styling more cohesive. Recently, she has also released multiple stunning nail styles for Jisoo’s solo album “ME”, each one eye-catching and impressive!
Recently, she has been inspired by G-Dragon’s new collaboration shoes “PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1” and designed a black and white themed manicure. Park Eunkyung used different materials and threads to embroider the iconic small daisy of PEACEMINUSONE on the nail pieces, creating a three-dimensional effect.
Park Eunkyung cleverly incorporates nail art into fashion, making it more complete. In addition to being the official nail artist for BLACKPINK and G-Dragon, she is also loved by many Korean celebrities and has become the go-to nail artist for many artists. Lee Hyori, Sunmi, Kim Doyeon, Kong Hyo-jin, Min Hyorin, Irene Kim, and others also love to have their nails done by her. She is regularly invited by major fashion brands and magazines, and her work can be seen in numerous music videos and fashion magazines, which has greatly increased her international recognition. She has even participated in New York Fashion Week and has become the designated nail artist for brands like Gucci and Fendi. She has also done nails for top models Bella Hadid and Victoria Beckham, showcasing her undeniable talent.
It’s like the recent fashion photoshoot for Korean magazine “eyesmag” featuring Shin Rui En, who played the young version of “Park Yeon-jin” in “Dark Glory”. The nail art was done by Park Eunkyung. Taking inspiration from the Maison Kitsuné clothing worn by Shin Rui En, playful elements were added to the minimalist nude nail art, adorned with the Maison Kitsuné name and iconic little fox, giving the nails a youthful and vibrant feel.
