Local artist Jasontommy brings the latest hand-painted wooden board art, documenting the character “Tufrog’s” 50-day overseas adventure!

In the past three years, Hong Kong has been trapped due to the epidemic, which has made Hong Kong people who love to travel complain endlessly. The local artist Jasontommy’s character “Painted Frog” also loves to explore and can’t sit still. Before becoming a “frog at the bottom of a well,” he happened to encounter the lifting of travel restrictions. The artist let him embark on a 50-day adventure of residence and set the destination as Nowhere, allowing you to follow this lively frog on a long-awaited journey!

Jasontommy Illustration is known for his doodle style, using intricate black and white lines to carefully outline a whimsical world. This time, he brings over 30 pieces of artwork to Whatever. Coffee, cleverly piecing together the “Flights to Nowhere” travel journal, documenting various anecdotes of his journey.

Unknown places mean infinite possibilities, and the journey of Tufrog brings unexpected novelties, encountering various characters, including traveling with a mysterious Thai girl at the night market (in the work “Pure Love That Makes My Heart Flutter”), and witnessing friends taking risks for a living (in the work “Money and Poverty”). The journey has its ups and downs, as described in the work “Blooming Shit,” where the stomach rebels against the unfamiliar environment, and “Be Careful, It’s Slippery” when encountering a storm at a music festival. The anecdotes of Tufrog’s travels cannot be fully recorded, so why not go to the scene and experience it firsthand?

The on-site works will be exhibited until January 31st. Each hand-painted wooden board is unique, and there are also commemorative items with the artist’s iconic graffiti style available for sale. Don’t miss out if you love painting frogs!
