Renowned Korean artist Jibin Im’s famous hugging bear art pieces have traveled around the world, and recently the artist brought this lovable and adorable white bear to Hong Kong’s SHOUT Gallery for his first solo art exhibition “You Are Not Alone,” allowing everyone to see the true face of this popular character!
This exhibition showcases the limited art series “Frame Your Love” created in digital and physical forms, and brings its famous touring art installation “Everywhere” bear balloons to galleries and malls in Hong Kong.
This time, invited by Samsung x SHOUT Gallery, the artist specially redesigned the iconic black and white bear balloon, imprinting “CHILL” on the bear’s face, expressing the idea that Hong Kong people in this fast-paced bustling city should also remember to relax in a timely manner and enjoy the most chill lifestyle. This 2.5-meter-tall bear balloon art installation is now officially stationed at SHOUT Gallery in Central IFC Mall and will be exhibited on a tour in the future.
Another highlight of the event – the “Frame Your Love” art collection, is Jibin Im’s first art project created simultaneously in digital and physical forms. The inspiration for the creation comes from Samsung The Frame’s five customizable color TV frames, made into teddy bear art collections in the same color scheme, including: light wood, walnut, natural pink, lemon yellow, and pure white. At the same time, bringing physical teddy bear dolls into the digital world, presenting artistic details on the technical screen.
For this collaboration project, Jibin Im brings another famous creation “You Are Not Alone” and specially prepared 5 new Hong Kong limited edition color series of bear-shaped figurine artworks. Don’t miss out if you are interested!
