Living in such a fast-paced city, it’s inevitable to feel breathless at times. When we are constantly on the go, it’s easy to lose our passion for life. Relaxing at the right time, sometimes “slacking off” is a way to balance our body and mind.

“Harbour City Art Museum” is currently showcasing the “Just Want to Do Nothing Mr.Donothing Hong Kong Exhibition”, allowing popular illustration character Mr.Donothing to teach you how to relax in the busy city life!

Mr. Donothing’s attitude towards life is just as his name suggests, Just Do Nothing, wanting to do nothing every day. This is an original super lazy cartoon character created by Korean designer CHO Hee-jae, capturing the mindset of those who just want to waste time and be lazy, resonating with many people’s idle daily lives.

This exhibition showcases 12 selected works from previous years, encouraging everyone to learn how to relax, balance work and rest, and find breathing space. Mr.Donothing is portrayed in a white image, symbolizing ordinary city dwellers who have lost their radiance. The illustrator depicts the protagonist Mr.Donothing living a leisurely life happily through illustrations, encouraging everyone to paint their lives with their own colors and make slacking off a part of life.

In addition, the illustrator has specially created a new piece of work with the theme of Victoria Harbour night scene for this exhibition. In addition to displaying digital prints, visitors can also purchase a series of exhibition-exclusive merchandise, including Mr.Donothing’s model figurines, clothing accessories, etc., encouraging everyone to embrace a positive and carefree lifestyle.

Feel free to visit the exhibition, you might just see your own lazy figure in the paintings!
