C AllStar goes from solo career after disbandment to group gold award, exhibition reviews 12 years of music journey!

At the beginning of the year, the music industry concluded the past year’s singers’ achievements with the “2021 Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation.” C AllStar outshone the popular group MIRROR, winning the “Ultimate Song Chart Group” gold award, allowing fans to once again enjoy the members’ joint performance on stage.

To celebrate C AllStar’s 12th anniversary, fans specially organized the “C AllStar Era Recorder” music culture exhibition for them, allowing everyone to look back on how the group has used music to carry urban culture over the years.

Since their debut in 2009, C AllStar has been highly respected for their solid singing skills. Over the past 12 years, they have released 12 albums and over a hundred Cantonese songs, accompanying many Hong Kong people as they grow up and documenting the development of Hong Kong through music. Looking back on the artistic creations of C AllStar’s four members, Leung Chiu Fung, Chan Kin On (On), Ho Kin Hei (Jase), and Ng Chung Ming (King) over the years, their exploration of new types of Cantonese songs, music quality, and recording of urban culture have made them witnesses to local music and urban development.

Starting from their first album “Make It Happen,” the band has conceptualized each album, with the tracks on the album interconnected. With the release of this year’s annual conceptual album “Human World,” the band has taken the integrity of conceptual albums to new heights. Similar to how movies have visual language, C AllStar’s albums use track arrangement as a musical language to tell stories, with 12 tracks depicting how humanity faces philosophical discourse in the era.

The exhibition reviews the albums and song concepts released by the band over the years, from their debut to solo careers, and this year’s music journey that resonates with a wider audience, using music to evoke everyone’s memories of the city. Feel free to visit the exhibition and experience the charm of C AllStar!
