The second “Just Ordinary… Exhibition” is now on display! Promoting women’s physical and mental health through art.

Many people in society have little knowledge about women’s diseases, and even women themselves avoid discussing women’s diseases. The Karen Leung Foundation held the “Just Another… Exhibition” for the first time last year, which received wide recognition and support from all sectors. This year, it returns with the second edition of the exhibition in the fall, hoping to raise public awareness of women’s health prevention through the exhibition.

Over 40 artworks will be participating in this year’s exhibition, which will tour different locations across Hong Kong. The artworks in this exhibition have a wider variety and range, as well as more diversity, including sculptures, three-dimensional installations, textured paintings, and non-fungible tokens (“NFTs”).

In order to allow more members of the public to participate, the exhibition is now available through an online catalog, showcasing artworks in digital form to those interested in purchasing. 50% of all proceeds will be donated to the foundation.

The foundation and a group of artists share the same belief, hoping to make an impact on society with their own strength. The returning artists this year include: Basil Pao, Jenny Lam, Kim Robinson, Simon Birch, and Tanya Bennet; in addition, there are also young local talents: Bobby Yu, Bowie Ho, Clair Chan, Claudia Chanhoi, Irving Cheung, Karen Chan, Lily So, Polo Bourieau, Sophia Hotung, Toby Sun Yuen, Tomorrow Girls Troop, Wing Po So, Wong Ka Ying, and Yiska Wong.

In order to support the foundation’s development, Phillips Asia will also invite their art clients to attend this extraordinary exhibition to show their support. Phillips will host a special art weekend pop-up event at Soho House in Sheung Wan in October, promoting female artists in the industry while supporting the foundation’s activities.

The exhibition will tour in 4 locations, everyone should take the opportunity to visit!
