The 2024 Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau has just been released, with a total of 77 Hong Kong and Macau establishments selected. Among them, 7 Hong Kong restaurants have been recommended by Michelin for the first time, including not only popular local eateries but also the recently discussed “Manor Restaurant”!

//1. Eat, Play//

This bright yellow-walled small shop is run by a couple, and the colorful plastic chairs, conical hats, etc. inside are full of Vietnamese style. The shop specializes in local snacks, including the ingredient-rich banh mi, the locally distinctive egg coffee, and Vietnamese craft beer. There are also Vietnamese noodles with regionally changing styles every day, and the chef also uses halibut with homemade fermented fish sauce to improve the traditional ginger grilled fish, bringing a unique flavor!

The restaurant owner is from Naples, Italy, and all ingredients are imported from his hometown. The thin crust pizzas are made to order, following local tradition, made in 13-inch sizes, and baked in a 400-degree Italian imported stone oven, resulting in a crispy crust and juicy, delicious toppings. Popular choices include Margherita and slightly spicy Vesuviana flavors, and the restaurant also offers fried Italian calzones, baked Italian sandwiches, and other delicacies.

Some dishes are limited in availability daily, such as the signature traditional salt-baked chicken, pork belly stewed with wolfberries in superior soup, and home-style baked fish intestines in a clay pot. It is recommended to make a reservation.
