#ParisFashionWeek Thom Browne’s fantasy snow kingdom is just so dreamy and fun

Why can the Olympics be held on the moon in 2132, but winter Olympics cannot be held in full dress?

Continuing from last October’s “Lunar Olympics,” this season’s THOM BROWNE is another winter sports event held in Banff National Park, Canada: the Winter Olympics held during challenging times.

Although he did not personally explain it, it can be roughly felt from the past two seasons that THOM BROWNE regrets not being an athlete when he was young; or more accurately, he is somewhat concerned. Coming to the FW21 fashion show, he followed the sports theme of the previous season, bringing the autumn and winter collection to the ski competition of the Winter Olympics, and even invited American World Cup alpine skiing champion and Winter Olympics gold medalist Linsey Voon to “fulfill his dream” for him, showcasing high-level skiing skills, while presenting the extremely intricate women’s and men’s clothing from a first-person perspective.

Among them, a puffer maxi skirt that resembles an evening dress is made up of over 100 pattern templates, while the men’s collection also includes a suit coat made from 209 pattern templates. It feels like this season has brought forth another brand showcasing advanced tailoring skills.

Who says you have to wear functional elastic clothing when exercising? Who says women’s clothing is only for ladies? And men’s clothing cannot be women’s clothing? In the world of Thom Browne, formal wear can appear on the ski slopes, ski champions can be models, anything can happen, as long as it’s interesting.
