The live-action version of “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” is about to be released in Hong Kong. Before heading to the theaters for a good laugh, H&M is warming up by collaborating with Pokémon to launch a spring collection featuring the popular Pokémon character, Pikachu, creating a series of playful clothing items.
When it comes to Pikachu, of course, you will think of its iconic black and yellow colors, which have become the main colors of the entire series. The tops in the women’s collection are printed with different forms of Pikachu, making gestures like winking, waving, and smiling vividly, paired with denim shorts, black fisherman hats, and waist bags. The men’s styles are inspired by movie themes, with black printed shirts layered over yellow T-shirts, creating a strong contrast like seeing neon lights in the dark, very street-style.
In addition to the men’s and women’s clothing series, H&M also caters to the needs of children by creating a children’s clothing series, which includes Pikachu and other partners such as Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle, adding a playful touch.
H&M X Pokémon men’s and women’s collection will be officially released on May 16, while the children’s collection will go on sale on May 23.
